PPI accepts all bicycles – the good, the bad, and the ugly – from tricycles to bikes that fit 6’8” adults.

We are committed to keeping bicycles out of the waste stream. When bicycles are donated we either fix them so that they can be given to other community organizations, sold to fund our organization, or torn down for recycling.

Every year we process hundreds of bicycles which are either too damaged to be repaired, or are of such low quality that they never should have been built in the first place (i.e. many old Huffies). These bikes are stripped by our volunteers of any aluminum or plastic and then taken en mass to a metalreprocessing facility.

You can help Pueblo kids learn life skills through biking by donating good, used bicycles for repair and resale to our non-profit organization.  Pickup can be arranged for these donations. Contact us for more information.
